What am i doing ?

The expo is doing well, and i’m hopping up and down stages, running for contest deadlines and, all this, during my nights.

Maundering

Wednesday i’ll be at the Padova’s Photoclub with around two hundred photos and one hour worth of topics about street and travel photography.
I wonder if we’ll be friends.

a polaroid with a polaroid in a polaroid

And, the maaaaaking of!

polaroid’s reborn

I had been following the impossible project since polaroid discontinued the production of 600 film .

Right now the impossible has been made possible. While since some time ago the impossible online shop made some of the most common polaroid film available again (600, sx-70, type 100 mainly coming from stored films and/or chemicals) now the production of film is back again, with the PX-100 (a b&W sx-70 film, good for sx-70s or 600 cameras with some basic and quick hacking).

Having been at the Rome’s Photoshow i can tell the interest in polaroid instant film is alive and kicking. Polaroid’s stand wasn’t that much, being based mainly on Spectra film manipulation, but the public was stunned and interested at the TauVisual stand where a mix of fake and true polaroid was taking place.

square squarings featuring Federica Pace, 600 film on sx-70

(Be kind and visit Federica's place.)

So, stop by the impossible shop and be sure to get back to your polaroid love.

I tested the 600 film (this 4 shots above, for example) and am still experimenting with the Fade to Black film (which is indeed kind of emotional).

Sinestesia

my personal pick of the day

[The simultaneous perception of two senses is a phsychic phenomena called SINESTESIA.]

In all they’re mightess: the Sinestesia .

A lot of work in the past weeks resulting in some colour single & group shots. This one above is my personal favourite. Really it’s been a nice busy shooting day, started with a surprise call by Alessandro and it’s been a pleasure to work in such a serious and professional ambience.

I’m so sorry i couldn’t film them while they were enjoying Pink’s Funhouse tour during a pause :-)

Stop by listening to theyr myspace and check for shows near you!

some glorious light test with Alessandro

breakfast

breakfast and osmizas seems to be the two hot topics of the month, let’s put em together!

Breakfast in osmiza!

(and yes, this is the best i can do playing with words)

join us and your sunday's breakfast will never look the same

in the mornings

In the mornings i sometimes like to have a good book around to read while i’m having my tea.

Today i’d like to point out the one i’m having for breakfast lately, Emmanuel Guibert’s The Photographer: Into War-torn Afghanistan with Doctors Without Borders , a documentary mix of photos and comic graphics of Afghanistan in the late 80s.
