Era un pò che stavo lavorando su una mostra. Sarebbe stata un discorso in bianco e nero tra la città e i suoi abitanti.

E invece poi capita che da un giorno all’altro mi invento una piccola esposizione dedicata al viaggio e ai viaggiatori per lavoro, per dovere e per necessità.

La mostra si chiama Foto da un finestrino. Si chiama allo stesso modo di quel libretto di Sottsass che trovate in tutte le librerie che però di finestrino non ha nulla. Si chiama così perchè è esattamente quello che è: degli istanti rubati dal finestrino di un treno o di un automobile.

L’inaugurazione è Martedi 5 Luglio 2011 ore 20:00 presso l’Expobuffet Franceschini di via beccaria 3, Trieste. La mostra resterà visibile al pubblico fino al 29 luglio (poi il locale va in ferie quindi ciccia!!)

Art doesen’t pay as long as you don’t pay for art.

Having problem of connection speed here so i find difficult to update the blog.

Any polaroid lover out there?

This summer, in Berlin, i got a talk with some Polaroid staff saying istant film should be back on the shelves before summer. I can’t wait, my fridge stock of film is gone and i really cannot wait.

By the way, where are all the polaroids i’ve shot during the years? I’ve been searching for them in the mess but still no survivors.

In the mornings i sometimes like to have a good book around to read while i’m having my tea.

Today i’d like to point out the one i’m having for breakfast lately, Emmanuel Guibert’s The Photographer: Into War-torn Afghanistan with Doctors Without Borders , a documentary mix of photos and comic graphics of Afghanistan in the late 80s.
