polaroid’s reborn

I had been following the impossible project since polaroid discontinued the production of 600 film .

Right now the impossible has been made possible. While since some time ago the impossible online shop made some of the most common polaroid film available again (600, sx-70, type 100 mainly coming from stored films and/or chemicals) now the production of film is back again, with the PX-100 (a b&W sx-70 film, good for sx-70s or 600 cameras with some basic and quick hacking).

Having been at the Rome’s Photoshow i can tell the interest in polaroid instant film is alive and kicking. Polaroid’s stand wasn’t that much, being based mainly on Spectra film manipulation, but the public was stunned and interested at the TauVisual stand where a mix of fake and true polaroid was taking place.

(Be kind and visit Federica's place.)

So, stop by the impossible shop and be sure to get back to your polaroid love.

I tested the 600 film (this 4 shots above, for example) and am still experimenting with the Fade to Black film (which is indeed kind of emotional).
